He was transferred to the Philadelphia Cuneo plant in 1953, where worked for about 3 years before accepting a position with Roger Kellogg Publisher's Printing Inc. in Long Island City, New York. He retired as Plant Manager there in 1969, at 60 years of age, and ultimately moved to Sebring Florida with Hazel. They enjoyed 10 years there before my Mother's health failed. Hazel died on March 10, 1985 of a brain tumor after moving back to Holland, Buck's County, PA. Walter died as a result of a traffic crash, one month after his 79th birthday. Both were cremated, and interred at The Church of the Redemption Episcopal Church, Southampton, PA.¹
