His suffering showed on his face.His older daughter, Debra, shared many happy memories their family had withJohn from the pulpit. John and Flo were founding members of St. William Church and had been very active in the church activities. He ran the bingo games for years. They were well liked. The church was about half full this morning. There were about 30 cars in the procession to All Souls Cemetery. We returned to the church for lunch a little after noon time. Flo invited Mike and me to stop at the house afterwards. We had a nice visit with her and the two daughters, Deb and Serene. We got back to Edinboro about 5 PM. Barb Yes, he is the one that you took such a nice picture of along with hiswife, Florence. Mike and I went to Warren, Ohio for his funeral today. Weleft here at 7:20 this morning and arrived at the church at 8:45. We gotthere just a few minutes before the hearse came with his casket. Thecasket was open for an hour before Mass at 10 AM. So, we were able to seehim. You could tell he had been suffering. There were a lot of people.Half the church was filled. Called himself the 'black sheep' of the family,and a con artist. recollected an 'Al Cyphert' who worked for the gas company, collectingmoney from customers in cash.
